Rules & Guidelines For Visitations & Retreats

The convent is open from 8 AM to 6 PM every day except Monday and Tuesday, please arrive within these hours.

The Convent Closes on Sunday at 2:00 PM

Please be mindful of the monastic environment during your entire stay but especially during our quiet hours from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Please dress in modesty and honor as we are the daughters of Christ.

Most updated Liturgy time is posted on the website

The Mothers will be giving you room keys and taking them back 15 minutes before the end of your stay and checking the room with the coordinator.

You can’t leave and come back to the convent without permission from the superior mother for any reason or you would have to make a new registration to come back.

No Pictures/Videos/Recordings are allowed of the Mothers or the Sisters

We will try our best to have one of the mothers spend some time with the group and take their blessing, so please be understanding. Have your own spiritual schedule with your servants around the convent’s Prayers Times.

The convent is not responsible for lost or missing belongings.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Pets are not allowed on the convent grounds

DO NOT BRING CIGRATTES, DRUGS, ALCOHOL, ELECTRONIC VAPES, etc STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.

Pillows and covers are in the rooms, but please bring your own bed sheets, and pillow cases.

Bring your own towel, personal shampoo and soap, toothpaste, brush, etc.

Please bring your own head covering, Agpeya, and journal for spiritual meditation.

Refrain from sleeping on beds without sheets and pillow cases

Please bring a jacket, it gets cold at night.

No food/drink are allowed in the rooms beside water ONLY

Take out all trash bags and place them in the dumpster next to the rooms by the gate that leads to the kitchen.

Please DO NOT throw any toilet papers or any other things in the toilet because the convent runs on a SEPTIC TANK.

All the rooms should be swept and mopped before departure. The bathroom and sinks should be cleaned. Each room has cleaning supplies in the bathroom and the closet, so we can get them ready for the next group coming

All room trash should be taken to trash outside the dorms.

The cafeteria closes at 8:00 PM

Must be cleaned after every meal and wipe down the tables

We have a few wish lists on the website, and monetary gifts are greatly appreciated, but most important are your prayers.

You can purchase anything from the Wishlist from other stores even if amazon says they are already purchased.

The list is there to allow you to know the daily convent needs.

Please have one servant per 4 youth (4:1); 

Each room has 5 twin beds- one servant and 4 youth. Each room MUST have a servant.
